We want you to feel comfortable trying Trading Arc, and clear about what happens if a plan isn't right for you. This Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to all paid programmes offered by Trading Arc LLP.
1. 7-day free trial
All new members are offered a 7-day free trial to explore our educational content, Telegram community and tools. During the trial:
- You will not be charged. Your card is authorised for ₹1 (refunded or auto-released) only to confirm validity;
- You can cancel at any time before the trial ends — from your account settings or by emailing us — with no charge;
- If you do not cancel by the end of day 7, your selected plan will auto-renew on day 8 at the published price, and regular billing begins.
2. Monthly plan cancellation
Our paid subscriptions are flexible:
- You may cancel any monthly, quarterly or annual plan at any time from your Account → Billing page or by writing to us;
- Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. You retain access to all paid content until the end of the current billing period;
- We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle once payment has been charged, except in the cases listed in section 3.
3. Refund eligibility
We will issue a refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment — if our systems or the payment gateway charge you twice for the same plan, the duplicate amount is refunded in full;
- Failed service delivery — if access to paid content is unavailable for more than 48 continuous hours due to a fault on our side, you may request a pro-rata refund for the affected days;
- Accidental or unauthorised charge — if a renewal was triggered despite a valid cancellation on record, the charge will be refunded in full;
- Technical issue preventing first use — if you are unable to access the service within the first 72 hours of a paid plan due to a verified defect, you may request a full refund.
4. Non-refundable items
Certain programmes are not eligible for refunds once delivery has begun:
- Custom 1:1 mentorship — refunds are not available once the first session has taken place. You may reschedule unused sessions subject to the mentor's availability;
- Cohort mentorship — refunds are not available after week 1 of a running cohort, as material and live sessions are substantially delivered;
- Downloadable or DRM-free content — once downloaded, digital workbooks and journals are non-refundable;
- Promotional, discounted or bundled offers — unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
5. Refund process
To request a refund:
- Email grievance@tradingarc.in from the email address linked to your Trading Arc account;
- Include the order ID, date of charge, amount, and a brief description of the issue. Attach screenshots if relevant;
- We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours.
Our review and decision will be communicated within 7 business days of acknowledgement. If approved, the refund is processed to the original payment method (card, UPI, net-banking) and typically appears in your account in 10–14 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Trading Arc has no control over bank timelines beyond the transfer.
6. Dispute escalation
If you disagree with the outcome of your refund request, you may escalate the matter to our Grievance Officer. Full escalation details — including response timelines and the path to consumer forums — are described in our Grievance Redressal Policy.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, we genuinely prefer that you contact us first — most issues are resolved within a few working days. Raising a chargeback with your bank before writing to us is often slower and may lead to the suspension of your account during the investigation.
In the event of a chargeback, we cooperate fully with the payment network and may submit documentation such as access logs, signed terms of service and delivery evidence. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent termination and recovery action under applicable law.
